Ok, got it now. Yes, me too. I mean I just can't stop feeling in that way(maybe not "cheating on" but something close. like Buffy and Angel forgot eachother it just kills me, I know the truth that they never forgot eachother and never will. but still, to see something like that; makes me upset or whatever). that's way I prefer not to read.
it's crazy how it take it very personal & i know very well they will never their love for one another, but as you said the thought that Bangel forget each other kills me & i cant handle it. _________________

I hate reading fanfics that dont promote Buffy/Angel in the end. They are soulmates, kindred spirits...love at first sight for goodness sake! _________________
I noticed that too that wasnt any kind of happy ending for Bangel so whatever but that didnt change what i believe in that Bangel will always be together despite that non-bangel happy ending. _________________
In some ways I agree, but in some ways I disagree.
Spike came into Buffy's life, became familiar to her, and was there in a moment of huge vulnerability for her. Angel was busy with his own life, with Connor, and she was struggling. Since I view Spike and Angel as very much linked together, with tangled relationships with Dru and all that, and the history between the two of them, I see Spuffy in a different light. I think in a lot of ways Spike was a connection, a link to Angel for Buffy when Angel was distancing himself. That whole relationship was so bad and messed up anyway that I can't help but feel bad for them both. On the show it was pretty much doomed. Spike himself was the one who said that they weren't friends, they'd never be friends. He was very perceptive about the whole Buffy/Angel thing and probably knew what was going on there better than anyone.
I preferred Spike HUGELY to Parker and Riley. Riley was a nice guy, but to me he was on the outside of Buffy's life. I felt like he didn't know her and what she'd gone through. For me, if she had to be with someone else, it had to be Spike.
CORDELIA, on the other hand, is a WHOLE different story for me. I was really angry that Angel would try and pursue something romantic with Cordelia. Especially remembering how Cordy would make Buffy so jealous, flirting with Angel in S1/S2. Angel's whole rationale for leaving Buffy was that he was a danger and a distraction to her, that she deserved a normal life. But Cordelia didn't?! She was way more of a civilian than Buffy. I'm glad that they didn't get them together at least, but I was sad with where her character went on that show.
I agree with the fact that Buffy and Angel are soul mates. They are true love. But sometimes that isn't enough, and sometimes you need other people to help and support you through, and that's what Cordy was to Angel and (some of the time) that's what Spike was to Buffy.
I guess I don't see that Buffy's feelings for Spike took anything away from what she had with Angel. It was a desperate situation for her. But I do feel a little bit like Angel trying to find romance with a pretty normal girl was a bit of emotional betrayal of Buffy. JMO.
I have to agree with some of what you said & i understand it sometimes but somehow i cant get pass that Bangel should always be together,& i know that they both needed some to relay on & shoulder to depend on but i dont agree on seeing them with Spike & Cordy although they both sometimes tried to help Buffy /Angel to moved on with their lives.
It moight sound crazy i can see Buffy with Spike although it's sucks but i cant stand seeing Angel with Cordy at all & i have no reason why?
